Kenney Tucker, VP of Widdows Sons G.C. Mass and his wife Karen were involved in a motorcycle accident Thurs 15 July. Karen had only minor injuries with a few cracked ribs. Kenney is still hospitalized with pelvic injuries. He is slated to be transfered to Tufts New England Medical Ctr. in Boston for surgery. Thankfully, the injuries don't appear to be life threatening but will be debilitating for some time. Their Ultra Classic didn't survive.
I talked to him this morning and he seemed in good shape for the shape he's in. I did get him to laugh. That's always good medicine.

August 4th, 2010 Midlothian #211 in Midlothian,VA will be hosting the Widows Sons!!!

Dinner will be at 6:15 and the stated meeting will be at 7:30. Riding gear and vests were approved by the W.M. All Widows Sons who are Master Masons are invited to attend

I was advised by the W.M. that non-tyled business will be handled downstairs to make the meeting short for those traveling. The Lions Tribe will be presenting a check to MAHOVA at this meeting and I was asked for a Widows Sons presentation downstairs so the ladies could see what we do also. I need a head count to give the W.M. for dinner. Either call me or post to the board if you can make it.

The Lions Tribe, as a chapter fundraiser for Mahova, will be making WS run tee shirts to sell at our booth at Mahova. The money collected will be donated back to Mahova. This years MAHOVA run is on

OCTOBER 9th 2010

I just confirmed that this year we will be utilizing the side gate and parking lane that is immediatly before the home. We will also be riding in the parade LAST...this will ensure a more pleasurable and professional parade movement for us.

(and we wont over heat)

So mark your calenders now....More to come on this event over the next few months.....Can you believe its JULY already....it wont be long.
