 Good afternoon brothers and sisters,

 

The monthly meeting for the Knights of Solomon will take place on Monday, Aug 18th at brother Harwells Uncle Al's Hot Dogs.

 

Famous Uncle Al’s Hot Dogs located at 3872 Holland Road, VA Beach, VA.

 

As always the meet time to socialize is 6:30 with the meeting starting as promptly as possible at 7:00 pm after closing.

 

Master Masons will vote on By-Laws changes. This portion of the meeting is private and only members of the Knights of Solomon will participate.

 

We have a few people interested in becoming WS KOS and also Masons, please introduce yourself, I know you'll make them feel welcome. Bring some lodge petitions with you to discuss with these potential members.

 

Visitors are welcome,  come out for the fellowship.

DON'T FORGET THE MEETING AT CHECKERED FLAG TAVERN TODAY AT 1!!! WE NEED TO DO A LOT OF FINALIZING FOR OUR CHARITY RUN.  IT IS LESS THAN A MONTH AWAY!! I NEED EVERYONE'S HELP...I CAN'T DO IT ON MY OWN.  THE LOCATION IS RIGHT BEFORE THE LANGLEY GATE ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE ON KING STREET. THEY ARE EXPECTING MORE THAN JUST ME AND MAC.

This is the latest info on the 2009 International gathering

KENTUCKY
 

2009 International Gathering
September 3rd - 9th

We have decided on Land between the Lakes in western Kentucky  between Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake for the 2009 International Gathering.

We have a prospective campsite that is well secluded on the lake. It is big enough to accommodate 200 campers. If anyone is planning on camping, give us some numbers so we can determine if the location is big enough.

We are also currently working on lodging discounts and we will post the name, location, and prices as soon as we can get the info.

Looking forward to a great time in 2009.
